Rita Ora Rips Through ‘R.I.P.’ in Red at 2012 MTV EMAs
The always adorbs Rita Ora opened the 2012 MTV EMAs on Nov. 11 by ripping through her song 'R.I.P.' while dressed head-to-toe in red lace.
The event was held in Frankfurt, Germany, and Ora, with red lipstick on her pout and bouncy blond curls on her head, wore an ear-to-ear smile the entire time she performed. Since Ora is based in Britain, Europe is her overall base of operations, and she was the queen of the night, rightfully so.
Ora didn't merely waltz onto the stage. Instead, she was perched high above it and was eventually lowered to the ground in a giant, gilded birdcage, which fits the song's lyrics about being set free and about saying goodbye to the girl she used to be. The 'How We Do' singer stepped out onto the stage in a red lace catsuit, with her name embroidered in gold on the back, and red sneakers. She was surrounded by male and female dancers throughout the fiery performance.
Ora even held up an umbrella while sparks rained from the sky towards the end of the perf. She had to protect her locks, which were likely loaded with tons of products which can make follicles more flammable.
Once again, Rita Ora delivered a scorching number amid a ton of pyrotechnics and looked sexy while doing it.
