Rihanna delivered two visual interpretations of her latest singles, “Bitch Betta Have My Money” and “American Oxygen” on the final episode of Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary season. It was the R&B singer’s fifth time appearing on the sketch-comedy show, which was hosted by funnyman Louis C.K.

Dressed in a baggy denim jumpsuit and floral bandana, Rihanna turned “Bitch, Better Have My Money” into a cinematic flick with her performance. RiRi is behind the wheel of a fake car while being pursued by police on a green screen behind her.

As the camera pans back, we see a female hostage is in the backseat so we have to presume this is the woman who owes her money. Afterward, the set is dismantled and Rihanna performs the rest of the song flanked by four background dancers.

For her second set, Rihanna performed the patriotic-themed “American Oxygen.” Donning a floor-length fringed jacket, the 27-year-old singer sings, “Breathe Out, Breathe in, American Oxygen” and adding, “Every breath I breathe, chasing the American dream.”

Rihanna almost looks like an eagle as images of the Ferguson riots, Martin Luther King Jr.’s coffin, 9-11, Muhammad Ali and the American flag project behind her svelte silhouette.

Overall, Rihanna’ performance on SNL was cinematic as well as entertaining. Watch both videos above and below.
