Rich Homie Quan is fast becoming the hottest rapper coming out of the ATL. He crept up on the scene this summer with his sleeper hit 'Type of Way,' and is now recording songs for his debut album.

Although the project is still a work in progress, the 23-year-old artist has enlisted the help of R&B songbird (and new mom) Monica and producer Dallas Austin.

"I've been working with him, and I got songs with Monica that are gonna go on my album," he tells MySpace. "I thank God that he gonna be working with me like that and is a big brother like that. Dallas Austin's giving me a whole lot of knowledge."

In the meantime, Quan can be heard next on 2 Chainz's upcoming LP, 'B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time,' on a track called 'Extra.' Look for it in stores on Sept. 10.

So what's next for the ATLien?

"I'm going to Six Flags before they close on my birthday in October," he says. "In Atlanta they know it's real big to go to Fright Fest with your girl. That's just me -- I'm still regular. I'm still plain. I still have a number here. I still have fun the regular way. I'ma go to Six Flags this fall, and I might go for two weekends this year. Yeah. Me, the Rich Homies, and we'll hit up some Rich Homie girls."
