Release Date For ‘The Place Beyond The Pines’

Women of the Capital Region were in all out stalk-mode when word spread that Ryan Gosling and former “Sexiest Man Alive”, Bradley Cooper were filming a movie in the Schenectady area. “The Place Beyond The Pines”, also starring Eva Mendes and Ray Liotta, now has an official release date.

The good news? It’s coming soon! It will open in select cities on March 29th of next year. The bad news? The keyword – “select” cities. Local cinemas won’t be authorized to show the flick until later next spring. A trailer is expected to be released in early 2013.

With a runtime of 2 hours and 20 minutes, I suggest you seek one of the local theatres with comfortable seating to watch the film. The plot, courtesy of IMDB reads:

A motorcycle stunt rider (Gosling) considers committing a crime in order to provide for his wife and child, an act that puts him on a collision course with a cop-turned-politician.
