Momma mia!  My paesans Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa & Joe Giudice plead guilty to several mortgage & bankruptcy fraud charges yesterday during their court appearance. What does this mean for their fate & the fate of their four daughters?

The Bravo TV RHONJ reality tv stars have been indicted on 41 counts of federal charges including mortgage & bankruptcy fraud, mail fraud, wire fraud, & failure to pay taxes.  The couple who previously plead not guilty, entered a plea bargain which could entail prison time.

Joe Giudice could face 37 to 46 months in jail & deportation back to the old world, Italy.  Since he was born in Italy & came to the US when he was only a year old, he overlooked the fact he was never a legal US citizen & never obtained citizenship. Teresa could face 21 to 27 months in jail, but the attorney thinks she has a possibility of getting probation.

What does all this mean for the couples four daughters: Gia 13, Gabriella 11, Milania 9 & Audriana 5?  Well if the judge grants it there's a possibility the couple will be allowed to served consecutive sentences so at least one parent can be present at a time.

The couple will probably lose everything including their gorgeous Towaco, NJ $1.3 million dollar mansion.  If Joe is deported to Italy, the couple may be forced to take la familia overseas. Real Housewives of Italia, perhaps? For now I volunteer to house sit & hook up a couple of pans of lasagna if I could raid Teresa's closet.  Afterall, she doesn't need all those Louboutins, Hermes birkin bags & bling where she's goin!

Ciao & buona fortuna!
