Considering the recent activity from Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T and Desiigner, it's safe to say that whatever G.O.O.D. Music has planned for 2016 is already in full effect. Sitting down with Hot 97's Nessa at the BET Awards on Sunday (June 26), G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T detailed some of his duties in the captain's chair and revealed that he was the one who inked Desiigner to the squad.

"First and foremost signing acts. Desiigner number one," Push says of his role as label president. "His energy has been a spark for all of us I feel like. The 'Panda' record is what it is. There’s so much more to come. As far as me being the president it’s overseeing the acts, overseeing the rollouts, signing new acts."

Nessa then comments on the giddy expression cemented to Desiigner's face throughout all of Summer Jam, saying that in signing the young Brooklyn act Pusha made his life. "He made his own life," he counters. "That’s his record. He spent the $200 on the beat."

In December, Pusha spoke on his diverse musical tastes, saying that while he only knows how to make lyric-driven hip-hop, he has an appreciation for it all. "I enjoy everything that’s going on in rap right now but I enjoy it in that space. I enjoy it in their space. I’m in the club every night. I’m into everything that’s going on," he said.

Peep Pusha's full convo with Nessa up top, where he also speaks on Jay Z's Reasonable Doubt and how he got Hov on "Drug Dealers Anonymous."
