Prom is right around the corner, did you take care of business yet?  Tickets, date, dress, hair appointment, tux, dinner reservations, corsage, boutonniere, transportation, after party, etc.  I guess you have a lot to do!

Most of those things will sort themselves out, the important ones are hair and clothes.  It's ok if dinner sucks, if the after party is boring you'll get over it, even if you can't get a limo and your parents drop you off it'll be ok.  I promise.  Hair and clothes, on the other hand, are a different story.

I know it's tough for high school kids to realize it but none of those things will really matter 1-5 years down the line.  The pictures are what last forever!  If you don't have a slick 'do and some swaggin' threads you're probably going to burn your photos before you graduate college.  Do you want to deprive your children of seeing your prom photos???  I didn't think so.

It's not my place to tell you how to do your hair or what to wear, just follow my advice.

Step 1 - dress/tux

Step 2 - hair-do.

That's it.  Don't sweat the small stuff!
