Post Malone kicks off 2018 with a major W. Recently, it was revealed that the Texas artist's 21 Savage-assisted single, "Rockstar," broke Spotify's record for longest No. 1 run on the Spotify Global Chart.

As of this past Tuesday (Jan. 9), the double-platinum-certified track had held down the spot on Spotify's Global Chart for a ridiculous 108 (!) straight days, and it's really shown no signs of slowing up. At this point, it feels safe to say it's the biggest song of Post Malone's career, which includes tracks like "Congratulations" and, of course, "White Iverson."

"Rockstar" is the first single off Beerbongs & Bentleys, and it's a track that definitely served it's purpose of making fans want the album even more than they already did. Last November, Post told them the project would drop on Dec. 1, but his record label told XXL that wasn't the case.

Later, Post issued an apology for fans who were expecting the project to drop on that aforementioned date. "Hey guys, i know a lot of you guys were expecting a project today, it won't be dropping for a little while," he wrote in a December tweet. "I'm sorry to let you down, but i need to make sure this album is perfect for you. I'm gonna keep working my ass off and make the best fucking album ever. i love ya."

There's still no release date for Post's latest album, but hopefully it drops soon.
