Eliana Rowe is a Junior Theatre Major at Fordham University and is grateful to be a first time feature poet at Poetic Vibe! Rowe has been writing poetry for as long as she can remember. Inspired by the works of Ntozake Shange, Maya Angelou and the P4CM movement, Rowe seeks to create art that not only challenges her audience but challenges herself to speak her narrative truthfully and create new narratives where she see's none represented. As she cultivates her voice in university, Rowe aims to incorporate and fuse her passion for both the theatre and poetry in solo performance work and ensembles alike. She has recently studied under Regina Taylor, Geoffrey Owens and Daniel Alexander Jones and will be continuing her education abroad this spring at the London Dramatic Academy.
