Oprah Winfrey’s Martin Luther King Jr Movie ‘Selma’ Coming This Year!
So the actual date is finally here for the most anticipated movie. It has been announced that Oprah Winfrey's film on Martin Luther King's 1965 voting rights movement Selma is set to be released this coming Christmas.
The film will star Oprah Winfrey as the civil rights activist Anne Lee Cooper who is involved with Dr. King's historic campaign towards the Voting Rights Act of 1965. David Oyelowo the british actor will play Dr. King. The film is already shooting in Atlanta and other places we would assume it would such as Selma and Montgomery, Alabama.
This will be a movie you do not want to miss!
