Filming for C-Bo's latest music video took an unexpectedly tragic turn this past Sunday (Aug. 27). According to Sacramento, Calif.'s local Fox affiliate, a shooting took place in South Sacramento's Meadowview Park on 24th Street that left one person dead and four others injured.

According to the outlet, police learned of the shooting at 2:45 p.m. yesterday and found one person suffering from a gunshot wound upon their arrival. A bit later, they learned people in the park transported four others to local hospitals. Four of the victims are listed as being in "stable condition," while another was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police believe people attended the park in the hopes of being a part of C-Bo's music video, which he used his Instagram account to promote just a day beforehand.

In his caption for the post, the West Coast rap legend wrote, "Video shoot tomorrow 12 noon let's go sactown OGs will be out side. Basket ball dunking contest come correct 2 pair clothing this will be a 2 videos in one day shoot. Lets have fun bring ya picnic blankets we eating and drinking #boss #theproblem #cbo #wcmafia #weoutside #yourfavoriterappersfavoriterapper #2pac #pimpc #djscrew."

In a recording of a C-Bo livestream session on YouTube, we can see the rapper roaming around Meadowview Park. Fellow Sactown rapper Lavish D was also in attendance.

C-Bo, who responded to Mozzy's "New Era New King" diss with his own record, "Body 4 Body," is yet to comment on the matter. Check out the news story detailing the aftermath of the shooting below.
