Nicki Minaj is ready to show aspiring female rappers how to be successful in the rap game on her third album, 'The Pink Print.'

In a BBC Radio 1Xtra interview with DJ Semtex, the Queen Barbz compared 'The Pink Print' to Jay Z's classic 2001 album, 'The Blueprint.'

“Jay has had his 'Blueprint' albums and that’s what I feel like this album’s gonna be,” she said. "I really feel like this album will be like a Blueprint for female rappers to come.”

"This album is more confident. It’s more focused," she continued. "The second album ['Roman Reloaded'] lacked a little bit of focus. The first album was very focused and very raw and just real. I’m addressing things that I’ve never addressed before on the third album, which is another thing that I think my fans are going to love.”

Minaj discussed a myriad of topics, including who spitted the best freestyle on her song, 'Chi-Raq.'

“The Game bodied it. He kinda surprised me," she said. "That was one of the most lyrical Game verses I heard in years. I didn’t really expect him to go that crazy on it. That was one that really stood out to me. He was mad. Somebody made him mad or something.”

When asked about her latest song, 'Pills N Potion,' in which Minaj sings on the track, the Young Money rapstress wanted her first single to be something unexpected. "People never heard me sing like that in that tone," she said. "I think it was something fresh and new."

Finally, Minaj spoke highly of her mentor and boss Lil Wayne. She's not sure if he will appear on 'The Pink Print' but he has been supportive of the music so far.

"My connection with Wayne is so deep that I don’t gotta be on his album and he don’t gotta be on my album for him to always play a role as a mentor in my life," she said. "One of the biggest motivators in my career was just watching Wayne’s work ethic when I first came in the game. I would see him go so hard and do so many features and do so many mixtapes and do so many albums, and I was just like, ‘Yo, this dude don’t get tired.’ I’m just in love with him. He motivates me like a fighter."
