Being a superstar rapper is hard work. Just ask Nicki Minaj, who opens up about her struggles while creating her third album, 'The Pinkprint,' in a new documentary, 'My Time Again.'

In the trailer for the doc, you'll see Queen Barb surrounded by the paparazzi, rehearsing for a performance and visiting with her grandmother.

This is the Young Money MC's second MTV documentary -- the first, 'Nicki Minaj: My Time Now,' aired in 2010. That project followed her rise to stardom from under-the-radar rhymer to one of the biggest artists in today's music scene.

The new doc covers Nicki's recent activities in the limelight, including mishaps like that wardrobe malfunction at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. Based on the trailer, it looks like the 32-year-old really opens up about the pressures of fame.

"I didn't know this album would entail an emotional roller coaster," she says at the beginning of the clip. "No one can prepare for this business... Until you are in it, you really can't wrap your brain around it. When I'm faced with crazy adversities I turn on a switch that I don't even know I have sometimes."

That rollercoaster she's referring to is likely her breakup with longtime boyfriend, Safaree Samuels. The two split late last year and since then, they've exchanged a few heated words on social media.

'Nicki Minaj: My Time Again,' airs Sun., Jan. 18 at 10PM EST on MTV.
