New Pizza & Flatbread Restaurant To Open In Saratoga Springs

Flatbread Social plans to open in December serving wood fired pizza, flatbreads and more.

Plans for Flatbread Social were initially made public in June and a Times Union report says the restaurant now plans to open on Henry Street in mid December. Flatbread will  in the location that used to be the Merry Monk, which closed last year. The owners of Henry Street Taproom, which is located next door, also own the new restaurant.

The Times Union report says Flatbread will offer many options as far as pizza toppings including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free. I gotta say at first read this place sounds great. Artisan flatbread pizzas have become very popular over the last few years and when done right are excellent. Throw in the full bar which will live at the restaurant and you've got a great night out!
