I don't know about you, but I prefer my rap with bars. Plain and simple. I don't need much from my preference of rap but witty punchlines that make you cringe your face every time you hear a bar. Lately, I feel as though there hasn't been that much of that lately. After witnessing this on YouTube from one of my peers, I got that feeling again. And I might have been looking in the wrong places.

In June 2015, "Team Backpack's Mission Underground: LA" rap cypher featured 3 more than capable MC's who continue to prove themselves every time they step to the mic. This was too good not to pass on.

Joell Ortiz, better known for his work with the Rap supergroup Slaughterhouse ,which includes Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9" and Crooked I.

CyHi Tha Prince,(of Kanye West's label, G.O.O.D. music)

and an artist that I had not heard of before this video, Jarren Benton of Decatur, Georgia.

They performed their song "MULA", produced by Trox. And MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN.......
