Hot 97 personality DJ Mister Cee took to the airwaves early Monday morning (May 6) to address his most recent arrest for allegedly soliciting a prostitute.

As we previously reported, Mister Cee (real name Calvin LeBrun) was arrested and charged late Thursday evening (May 2) in Brooklyn, N.Y., for patronizing a prostitute who was actually an undercover cop. This latest incident marks the third time the 46-year-old DJ has been caught participating in acts with a street escort.

During his interview on the Hot 97 Morning Show, Mister Cee addressed the rumors made about his sexuality.

"No, I am not gay," he said. "I have not engaged in homosexual activity. Out of the three incidents that happened in the past with me, there was only one person's name brought up that was a male."

He then explained what happened on the night of his arrest.

"I was leaving an after work party nearby and I remembered I needed to call somebody I said I would call earlier," he said. "I pulled over to call, and it was on the corner of Madison and Broadway, and I was approached by a female Latina undercover officer. So I rolled down the window. She offered to have oral sex. I can't say too much because I have to go back to court. But she said pull up to the corner.  I said, 'No,' and started to pull off, and all hell broke loose."

Although Mister Cee admits that he likes to patronize prostitutes and strippers, he denies that he has an addiction. But he is seeking therapy to deal with the problem, which, he says, stems from his previous relationships with women.

"I don't have an addiction to prostitutes. I have an addiction to instant gratification. I need help. I been dealing with it and trying to deal with it for the last 10 to 12 years," he says.

"I found myself not trusting women as much. I found myself not wanting women to get closer to me in my world," he explains further. "I started seeing how my friends were getting jammed up in their marriages and relationship and I said that's not going to be me. If I get to a point where me and a woman get too close, I push her away. I have trust issues with women. For me to have gotten caught three times, in relation to all the times I frequent prostitutes, it's really not surprising."

In the end, Cee elected to step away from radio for an undisclosed amount of time.

"I'ma suspend myself, I'ma take myself off the radio," he said. "I'ma take some time off and I'ma suspend myself."
