Miguel Shocked to be Working With Beyonce

Miguel is in awe that he was summoned by the queen queen of R&B that is Beyonce Knowles! The 'Adorn' singer posted a picture of him and Queen Bey in the studio on Instagram Tuesday night (Oct. 30). Under the photo, that caption reads, "Woah. Creating for Virgo's all weekend."

Although Miguel mysteriously deleted the photo, it certainly got fans excited for their collaboration. For Miguel, getting a call from Mrs. Carter was a dream in itself.

"I heard it from my team, and I was like, 'Are you serious?' 'Are you sure?' 'Are we talking about the Beyonce?'" he explains to MTV News. "And after taking a second to confirm and double confirm and triple confirm, I'm excited to hear the direction of her new material, and hopefully come up with something that's really special and really showcases her perspective."

"She's definitely the most dominant female [artist] -- dedicated and driven," he added. "I'm such a huge fan so it's gonna be really cool."

Beyonce is hardly Miguel's first high-profile collaboration. The 26-year-old singer-songwriter has penned tunes for such notable artists as Kanye West, Alicia Keys, Usher and Nas, among others. Despite his clients list, this is certainly a major look for the 'Sure Thing' singer.

As for Beyonce, she is currently working on her follow-up album to '4' and is planning to dazzle television audiences with her Super Bowl XLVII halftime concert in February.
