Migos’ Offset Curses Out Judge After Being Denied Bail

It looks like Migos member Offset will stay in jail for a little while longer. During a hearing on Friday (May 8), the Atlanta rapper was denied bail for a second time and he wasn’t too happy about it.

According to the Statesboro Times, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, cursed out the judge while he was being escorted out of the courtroom.

Bulloch County Superior Court Judge John R. Turner denied Offset bond because the rapper is a prior convicted felon. Plus, he assaulted another inmate and caused a riot while at the Bulloch County Jail in Georgia.

The “Fight Night” rapper has been incarcerated since his April 18 arrest at Georgia Southern University’s Spring Bling concert. Offset was hit with drugs and weapons possession charges, including possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Two other Migos members, Quavo and Takeoff, were also busted on drugs and gun possession charges including possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Both men are out on $10,000 bond each.

Offset's attorney, Drew Findling, believes the rappers are being unfairly targeted and prosecutors failed to prove ownership of seven guns and an assortment of marijuana and "lean" that police discovered during the arrest.

The Migos’ legal issues have caused the group to reschedule their Young Rich Nation Tour from May to July.

If Offset continues to be unruly inside and outside of the courtroom, Migos may have to postpone their tour indefinitely.

As of press time, Migos’ debut album, Y.R.N.: Tha Album, is set to drop in stores on June 16.
