MGK Performance Cut Short By Police
Last week The Source magazine held an event to promote their annual Power 30 edition at the Microsoft Store in Atlanta. The event was headlined by a performance from Machine Gun Kelly. Yes, that’s right. MGK, one of the most live performers in the game… performing in a retail store.
To no one’s surprise (including the man holding the video camera), things got a little out of hand. MGK was performing his new single, “Hold On (shut up)”, while dancing and stomping on top of a display table. The table had several (very expensive) laptops and tablet computers on it.
As you can see in the video, when a staff member tries to get him off the tables, the Cleveland-born rapper greets him with a finger (not the ring or the thumb, the one you put up when you don’t give a f—).
After he ignored the requests to get down, police and store employees unplugged the rapper’s mic. The dude holding the camera put it best – “what the f— they think was gonna happen?”
