Metro Boomin’s ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes’ Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Chart
Earlier today (Nov. 12), the folks at Billboard reported that Young Metro's Not All Heroes Wear Capes album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart after moving 99,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Needless to say, that's a big W.
Metro Boomin's debut solo album includes features from a who's who of rap superstars, including Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, Gucci Mane, Offset and more. With top-notch features and equally fire contributions from its roster of guest verses, it's not all that surprising to see Metro's LP has been so successful. It feels hard to imagine him thinking about retiring now.
Also securing himself a spot in the Billboard 200's top five is Takeoff, whose debut album, The Last Rocket, landed at No. 4 on the chart. It moved 49,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Drake's Scorpion album checks in at No. 5 after moving 45,000 equivalent album units last week, while Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V holds the No. 6 slot.
