After previously stating he was hoping to drop his new album as a surprise, Meek Mill has had a change of heart.

During a new interview with Vogue published on Wednesday (Nov. 14), the Philadelphia rapper confirmed that his next project is set to drop on Nov. 30. Excitedly, he also revealed that Cardi B will appear on the album, even previewing a brief snippet of what they’ve been working on. Speculation that the two were collaborating grew after they were spotted in the studio together last month.

In the video component accompanying the profile in the fashion magazine, the XXL cover star offers a glimpse into what a quintessential night in the studio with him is like. A voice can be heard asking him to play a teaser of the new song with Cardi B, to which Meek promptly obliges.

While fans are only treated to a couple of seconds of the new song, it features Meek absolutely going in over a hard-hitting trap beat.

Elsewhere in the feature, Meek talks about his newfound mission to free one million people who have been unfairly caught up in the justice system, much like he himself has.

“We started with a bold number, saying we’re trying to help free a million people, and we’re not saying free a million people out of prison,” he says. “Half of these people are on probation or parole, or on cash bail and things like that.”

Keep an eye out for Meek Mill’s new album, which has yet to be given a confirmed title, and check out the snippet of his collaboration with Cardi B around the 45-second mark in the clip below.
