Mase Officially Leaves Bad Boy Records…Finally

Believe it or not, up until very recently Ma$e was still signed to Bad Boy Records. After 16 long years, Diddy (Bad Boy’s CEO), is finally allowing M-A-dolla’ sign-E walk away.

Most of us, including myself, figured his contract was over years ago. But according to Mase, Diddy wouldn’t allow him to leave easily. He explained how he was going to sign with 50 Cent’s G-Unit back in the day, but Diddy wanted a huge payout to void his Bad Boy agreement.

Mase is looking forward to being an independent entity right now and doesn’t want to jump into another long contract.
