Even though it's summer, Mary J. Blige is ready to bring some yuletide glee into your life. The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul is set to release her first-ever Christmas album titled 'A Mary Christmas.'

MJB is currently putting the finishing touches on her holiday effort, which is due in October. Helping her bring her soulful magic to the album is none other than 16-time Grammy Award-winning producer David Foster.

Also, rumor has it that Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Barbra Streisand are attached to the project. If this is true, then Mary's album will be soulful and eclectic.

Along with her Christmas album, Blige is also starring in a holiday musical film titled 'Black Nativity.'

Based on Langston Hughes stage play, the movie co-stars Forest Whitaker, Jennifer Hudson, Angela Bassett, Nas and Tyrese Gibson.

The flick is about a young orphan teen named Langston who spends Christmas with his estranged grandparents in New York. Unwilling to live by his grandparents rules, Langston embarks on an inspirational journey that tests his faith and helps him discover the true meaning of family.

Filmmaker Kasi Lemmons ('Eve's Bayou') is directing the holiday film, which opens in theaters nationwide Nov. 27.

Ho! Ho! Ho! It looks like it's going to be a very Mary Christmas!
