The holiday grind tends to take a toll on those who aren’t financially stable. That’s why we see a rise in robberies this time of year. Tuesday was the latest heist.

A man robbed the First Niagara Bank on State Street in Schenectady on Tuesday afternoon. The bold robber pulled the job during broad daylight at 12:52 in the afternoon.

The man handed the teller a note before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of green. No weapons were displayed, according to Schenectady Police. The robber, who escaped on foot, is still at large. Anyone with information is encouraged to reach out to the Schenectady City Police Department.
