Lupe Fiasco is bringing his winning spirit to the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The Chicago rhymer has been named the Music Director for the Men's U.S. Soccer Team.

Under the theme "One Nation. One Team," Fiasco will be creating Spotify playlists and handle in-game music programming during the Send-Off Series for the men's team. In addition, the 'Old School Love' artist will appear at Fan Appreciation Day on May 30 in New York and perform a music set in Chicago prior to the men's soccer game against Ghana on June 16.

The U.S. Soccer organization is also promoting Fiasco's just-released single, 'Mission,' in which the rapper delivers empowering words to help those battling cancer.

Meanwhile, pioneering graffiti artist Futura will be designing the Men's U.S. Soccer team's poster, limited-edition skate deck and more.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup kicks off June 12 in Brazil.
