Love And Hip Hop’s Yandy Smith’s Husband Mendecees Sentenced To 8 Years

Looks like the happily married VH1 star Yandy Smith is about to lose her husband for a long time.

Mendeecees Harris, a star in the popular VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop-New York, received a 97-month prison sentence in Rochester on Tuesday for a federal drug trafficking crime, in which he transported millions of dollars in drugs across state lines..

Harris pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Rochester in April. Harris’ plea called for a sentence of eight to 10 years in prison.

The whole premise of season 2 of Love and Hip Hop New York was Mendecees legal struggle and getting him out of prison on bail. Mendecees was facing 25 years for his criminal activities. This is a sad situation he has several children and I'm sure Love and Hip Hop will have moved on to some one else by the time he is released from prison.
