Yesterday, Forbes unveiled their annual list of Hip-Hop Cash Princes for 2017. Among those that made it to the list were Lil' Yachty, D.R.A.M., Desiigner, Tory Lanez, Lil' Uzi Vert, Bryson Tiller, Young M.A., and more.  In order to make it onto the Forbes Cash Princes list, the artist must be primarily classified in the rap/R&B genre. They also must be under 30 years old and must not have been selected to be on the list in previous years!

It seems that this year’s theme emphasized rappers who made it from just being on the internet to now having their music playing almost everywhere and reaping the benefits of their music, making real life checks! Desiigner, one of the artists selected for this year’s list (far left), signed a record deal after his first song “Panda” went viral on the internet. His song also earned him a 2017 Grammy Award Nomination. At 19 years old, Lil Yachty (first photo; far left) has also made a ton of big business moves, especially this year. He’s been making endorsement deals with Sprite, Nautica, and Target proving that he has a marketable personality.

Some of last year's (2016) recipients included Fetty Wap, Dej Loaf, G-Eazy, and Joey BadA$$. Congratulations to this year’s class of Cash Princes!
