Lil Xan is starting the year off with one less problem to worry about.

The criminal investigation into threats made against Xan from St. Louis rapper VladHQ has officially been closed, TMZ reported in a post published Wednesday morning (Jan. 2).

As we previously reported, Xan's St Louis, Mo. concert was canceled local recording artist VladHQ threatened the rapper with guns in a video back in October. In a video shared to social media, Vlad was firing an automatic weapon into a lake, and captioned it, "Lil Xan said he wants a fade with me. "I'M COMING TO YO OWN SHOW TO SMACK TF OUT OF YOU TOMORROW OCT 10 AT @thepageantstl."

The issue was reportedly over money, but it looks like their problems have officially come to an end.

The St. Louis Police Department launched an investigation into the matter shortly after Xan's concert was canceled, but after both camps had a formal sit-down, Xan's team decided that there was no desire to pursue criminal charges and the investigation was closed. According to the report, Xan's team told Vlad he was taking the wrong approach to settle their differences, and once Vlad made it clear he understood, the issue was a done deal.

Last month, Lil Xan found himself in some more trouble when the rapper was kicked out of a Palm Springs, Calif. Air BnB for playing music too loud — just one day after checking himself out of rehab for drug addiction. Luckily, no arrests were made in the incident.
