From dapping up NBA players courtside to butting heads with Skip Bayless on ESPN's 'First Take,' it's fair to say that Lil Wayne is a bit of a sports fanatic. Following in the footsteps of Jay Z, who launched Roc Nation Sports last April, it looks like Weezy F. Baby is eyeing a move into the sports industry.

According to TMZ, the Young Money rapper is starting his own sports management company, and he's planning to make Portugal and Real Madrid super star Cristiano Ronaldo his first client.

Sources say Wayne's agency will work with GestiFute, which is operated by Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes, and handle all the player's affairs in North America, including branding, endorsement deals and even modeling.

Adding fuel to the rumor, Ronaldo tweeted a photo of the Prime Minister of Japan throwing up a Young Money symbol during a state visit yesterday. "He too real 4dat! Young Muulah baby!," Wayne wrote back on Twitter. What's more, Cash Money filed a trademark application for the name "Visionaire Sports Group" last year, according to Forbes.

second highest-paid athlete in the world behind only Floyd Mayweather Jr., CR7 will certainly be a solid coup for Wayne and his new company. With soccer fever catching like wildfire in North America, there's still so much potential for his brand to grow.
