Just as Women's History Month comes to a close, one of hip-hop's most famous MCs is doing it for the ladies. Lil' Kim has been on a hot streak musically as of late and now she's dropping a tape for fans to find all of her recent loosies in one place. The Brooklyn MC announced her long awaited Lil Kim Season mixtape yesterday (March 24).

The Queen Bee took to Twitter to share the announcement with her fans, writing "#LilKimSeason" and sharing the project's artwork. The art features a cartoon version of a blonde Kim with a crown floating above her head. Kim first teased a new collection of music back in December of 2015.

We're only three months into 2016 and Kim has already dropped plenty of new material. Kim has been showing and proving on tracks like the Notorious B.I.G tribute "I Did It For Brooklyn" as well as remixes of Drake's "Summer Sixteen" and Desiigner's "Panda." Kim has also been in the studio with fellow Brooklyn-bred wordsmith Maino and Kevin Gates. Judging from the consistent output of music and numerous studio sessions, Kim has been itching to drop a project for quite some time. Lil Kim Season will be Kim's first project since 2014's Hard Core 2k14. No word yet on the exact release date of Lil Kim Season.

“I’m working on a new album for next year,” Kim told Hot 97 late last year. “I put up a post not too long ago, I was at my old record label, so maybe. I’ve got a couple tours that I’m going to be a part of.”
