Rappers Lil B and Joey Bada$$ engaged in a war of tweets on Twitter today (Jan. 29) after the Based God dropped his diss song, 'I'm the Bada$$.'

According to Complex, the catalyst for the diss-a-thon started when Joey threw some lyrical shots at the B on the '1999' mixtape. Then on Monday (Jan. 28), Joey tweeted, "Tell Lil B don't quit your day job," which is a quote from the late Captial STEEZ's song 'Survival Tactics.'

This sparked Lil B to record the diss song 'I'm the Bada$$,' in which he throws "warning shots" at the New York rapper. "Who got that heart / To shine through the dark / Lil B, bitch / Call me Lil Boss / And if you really think you a badass / I'll turn you into trash, you little bitch," he spits.

On Twitter, Joey seemed unfazed by the song, however, he's thankful that Lil B recorded a tune about him. "Im about to blaze to this shit, cant believe the basedgod dedicated his appreciation for me on a song! So amped," he jokingly tweeted.

No word if Joey is going to actually respond to the Based God with his own diss track, but he is thinking about it. "If [I] was to diss this n---- im gettin DMX on the hook, game on the adlibs, joe budden verse 2 and the n---- who knocked him out to record it," he wrote.
