"The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” to be entered into Library of Congress

Lauryn Hill’s debut solo album, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill”, is one of Hip Hop & R&B’s most prize possessions. It’s good to know the US Government thinks so, as well.

Lauryn’s only legitimate solo album, long story short, is being immortalized by being entered this year into America's version of the time capsule, the Library of Congress. In a press release today, the LOC made the announcement

The critically acclaimed album was released on Columbia records August 28th, 1998 and still sounds as fresh today as it did almost 18 years ago. At the 41st Grammy Awards in 1999, Hill received 5 Grammys that year, including the Album of the Year.
