Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving has finally addressed the rumors regarding him and Kehlani following the R&B singer’s suicide attempt earlier this week.

In a series of tweets that have since been deleted, the NBA star expressed his concern for the “Alive” singer’s well-being and cleared up their relationship status.

"Nothing but love and compassion over this way for her and her family," he wrote. "My only focus the Game I love to play every night. It's unfortunate that it's received so much attention but its become bigger because of a post that was misunderstood. Of this non sense that could have been avoided, but Me and Kehlani were not dating when the picture came out."

"It's been hard to see what's been going on and not address the truth. I do not justify the picture or what dude did to try and spark all," he added.

The picture that Irving is referring to is the photo PARTYNEXTDOOR posted of him holding Kehlani's hand while they were in bed together. The picture instantly went viral and fans viciously attacked Kehlani for what they believe was her cheating on Irving.

This led to Kehlani going on Instagram and revealing that she wanted to end her life. Thankfully she didn't, but was hospitalized for a couple of days.

Since then, Kehlani has been on the mend and is resting at her home. Several celebrities have showed their support for the Oakland, Calif. native, including Nick Cannon, Questlove and Keyshia Cole.

Hopefully, this will end this unfortunate saga and people can go about their daily lives.

We are happy that Kehlani is in good spirits. Get well soon.
