Rising Florida rapper Kodak Black was recently arrested on multiple charges including robbery, kidnapping and assault.

According to DJ Akademiks, the rhymer was driving and stopped by police for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, police discovered a small amount of weed and he was also driving with a suspended license.

Subsequently, Black was arrested for an outstanding warrant that includes a slew of charges including robbery, kidnapping and assault. There’s no information on how Black obtained those charges, but the 18-year-old rapper was booked and is currently out of jail on a $1,000 bond.

Although he has not addressed his legal situation to the media, Black did write a message on his Twitter account that seemed to be rather fitting for the incident. He tweeted:

Black, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, is from the Golden Acres Projects in Pompano Beach, Fla. The young artist has a new mixtape, Heart of the Projects, out and recently had a summertime hit with the get-money anthem "Skrilla."
