Kim Kardashian is causing a stir with her latest photo shoot for Interview magazine. The celebutante is featured on the cover posing as the late first lady Jackie Kennedy Onassis with her beautiful daughter, North West.

The photos, shot by award-winning photographer Steven Klein, are phenomenal. Kim looks very first ladylike with her white skirt suit, elbow-length gloves and retro blowout bob hairstyle. Even North West looks adorable in her '60s-style wardrobe.

Although the 36-year-old reality star said that she will “treasure this shoot forever,” folks on Twitter were not feeling the Jackie O-inspired photo shoot.

Some Twitter users claimed that the magazine darkened Kim’s skin to match her daughter’s complexion. “Instead of using this as an avenue to show that we r racially diverse but still one, they darkened Kim's complexion to match her daughter’s,” tweeted one person.

Others objected to Interview magazine's tagline of crowning Kim "America's New First Lady." Some feel that Kim's salacious past hardly makes her a first lady.

"That title is insulting to Jackie O who didn’t come to fame via a sex tape," wrote one user. Another commenter tweeted, "WARNING: the following pics of Kim Kardashian as Jackie Kennedy may induce vomiting & serious illness."
