Kendrick Lamar is seeing nothing but success. After his powerful Grammy performance, the "Alright" rapper gained an increase of over 400% in sales for his album, To Pimp a Butterfly.

According to Hits Daily Double, the LP saw a 411% increase in sales following music's biggest night. King Kendrick also gained the most Grammy nominations this year with 11 nods and won five awards for Best Rap Album (To Pimp a Butterfly), Best Rap Performance ("Alright"), Best Rap Song ("Alright"), Best Rap/Sung Collaboration ("These Walls") and Best Music Video ("Bad Blood.") The album also went platinum after the RIAA started to include streaming as a factor to determine status.

Other Grammy winners and performers of the night also gained a large increase in sales following the award show. Alabama Shakes’ Sound & Color went up by 494% in sales gaining them the highest increase from the 2016 Grammy Awards. Tori Kelly’s debut album Unbreakable Smile also increased by 418% in sales.

Unfortunately, Lamar's award-winning night was bittersweet though as Top Dawg Entertainment affiliate Jay Rock was in a serious motorcycle accident on the same night. But, luckily, after undergoing surgery, Rock is doing okay.

"Jay rock wanted y'all to know he's feeling better and on the road to recovery.. He shud be out of here in a few days.." read an Instagram post by TDE's CEO, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith with a photo of Rock in the hospital bed.

We're happy to see Jay Rock alive and well. And congrats to Kendrick Lamar!
