Kanye West has created some of the most memorable and spectacular moments in MTV VMAs history, and at the 2015 show, he will be presented with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Yeezus has more than earned this honor, after years of releasing groundbreaking music and accompanying videos that have always pushed the envelope. From “Through the Wire,” to “Runaway” and “Bound 2,” his creative depths have never ceased to amaze us, and some could argue that his videos are complete masterpieces in their own right.

He’s even brought several of his creations to life at the VMAs over the past decade, with seven visually dazzling performances to date.

From his 2004 performance of “Jesus Walks/All Falls Down/Through The Wire,” to “Otis” with Jay Z in 2011 and 2013’s blacked-out rendition of “Blood on the Leaves,” the multi-talented rapper/producer always has a few tricks up his sleeve. Now, we’re just waiting to hear the undoubtedly amazing speech he’ll be giving when he hits the stage to accept.
