Kanye West is treating fans Down Under to his elaborate stage shows as part of his Yeezus tour this week. However, things hit a major bump when the rapper was rushed to the hospital in Melbourne, Australia and had an emergency MRI done on Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 10).

The Chicago native was taken to Epsworth Hospital in a stretcher at 2PM, surrounded by loads of security, reports Woman's Day Australia. Patients were quickly told to vacate the waiting and examination rooms so that West could be treated privately -- much like the way Kim Kardashian was able to take over the maternity ward when Baby North was born.

“Everyone was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms," witness Loraine Terry revealed. Terry was in the hospital with her daughter, who was trying to get her own MRI done. "We were the only ones left apart from doctors and nurses -- we couldn't leave as the MRI wasn’t finished. Next thing we knew, Kanye was stretchered in surrounded by security. He had one side of his face covered with something white. We both knew it was him because we had seen his photo in the paper everyday and we were shocked because it looked so serious.”

According to Terry, security forced her daughter out of the MRI bed before she was even done with the procedure. West's people, who did not include wifey Kim, were panicked.

The cause of his health scare is currently unknown. West did have enough energy to perform after his release from the hospital, two-and-a-half hours after he initially was taken in.

The 'Bound 2' creator hasn't addressed the hospital visit yet. West is set to perform Sept. 12 and 13 at the Qantas Credit Union Arena in Sydney.
