Rumors of a 'Cruel Summer' follow-up project appear to be shaping up. A video, uploaded by filmmaker Austin Christianson, was posted online teasing a 'Cruel Winter' short film featuring Kanye West.

The 54-second clip contains images of a swampy woodland and ominous audio of former president George H.W. Bush's 1991 'New World Order' speech. It's still unclear what the film is about or if this will coincide with the rumored 'Cruel Winter' album.

G.O.O.D. Music artist Q-Tip has spoken a few times about the project after questions arose about his exclusion from the 'Cruel Summer' LP. "Oh yeah, for sure," said Tip about his involvement. "I can’t really let out too much details about it, but yeah, I’ll be on it. Kanye had the plan all the while for that.”

Kanye's short films have always been a spectacle. At this year's Cannes Film Festival in France, the rapper-producer premiered his 30-minute 'Cruel Summer' short film, which garnered rave reviews from the critics. Unfortunately, there hasn't been an official premiere of the movie here in the United States despite promises that we'd get to watch it Stateside.

So, for now, we'll have to wait and see what Yeezy has up his sleeves for us. Hopefully, we don't have wait too long since the winter season is almost upon us.
