Kanye West may have a lot of fans, but none of them are as brave (or insane?) as this superfan. At the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday night (Jan. 6), a Yeezy fan bum-rushed the stage to crash an acceptance speech.

It all started when Sara Gilbert of The Talk was speaking on behalf of the group who were accepting their award for Favorite Daytime TV Show Hosting Team. The culprit suddenly appeared on stage and grabbed the mic, leaving the cast - and the audience - in a moment of shock.

After grabbing the mic, he introduced himself and gave a "shout out to Kevin Gates' Islah album," which may have been the oddest part of the whole ordeal given the venue.

He also gave a nod to Kanye West by cosigning the sentiments of the rapper's "Facts" freestyle, stating "Yeezy just jumped over the Jumpman, yes sir," before he was booted off the stage.

Despite being clearly annoyed, the cast took the unexpected turn of events in stride and made light of the situation, particularly Sheryl Underwood, who joked, "You ain't gonna pull no Steve Harvey up in here, no sir, no sir. Security."

Now who was the Kanye "Stan" who interrupted the acceptance speech?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, his name is Zacari Nicasio and he was arrested by private security and hit with a misdemeanor for interfering with a live event.

He was eventually released on his own recognizance shortly after and spoke to THR about his moment of infamy. "I had to shout out who I look up to: Kanye West and Kevin Gates," he said. "I came here to do this tonight. I could honestly care less about what was going to happen."

According to the aspiring artist, the move was made in homage to Kanye's own notorious acceptance speech interruptions and is a recurring habit of his.

Zachary Nicosia's next court date has been set for Jan. 27.
