Kanye West is clarifying a small detail about his new song "Facts," specifically that he was dissing LeBron James as well as Nike since the NBA superstar had recently signed a lifetime deal with the brand.

In the song, West rapped "Gave LeBron a billi not to run away," and earlier this week, LeBron told the media that he hadn't even listened to the track. Early this morning (Jan. 8), Kanye cleared the non-feud up on Twitter, writing, "The media tried to make it seem like I was downplaying LeBron on my song FACTS which I would never do, Lebron is fam bottom line." It's all love between stars that orbit the highest stratosphere, with Kanye having previously compared himself to LeBron in a more positive light on "Gotta Have It."

In other Kanye West-related social media news, there's reason to believe that SWISH is closer than spring. It could be the fact that the previously fashion-focused rapper has released two songs within the past week, "Facts" and the Sia-assisted "Reaper," or it could be this tweet from West's wife, Kim Kardashian. "Friiiiiiday!!!! New music!!!!" she wrote, adding the hashtags #EveryFriday, #Swish and #Real Friends.

It was reported in early February of 2014 that Kanye's influential G.O.O.D. Friday's were coming back, but the free music series remained a thing of the past. In 2010, West released a new track every Friday, typically with multiple high profile features, in the lead up to his fifth studio album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. What makes Kim's tweet so enticing is that first hashtag. While the new music Kanye has released in the wake of 2013's Yeezus has either been underwhelming or left of center, a routine like that deployed for the G.O.O.D. Friday rollout would recapture the collective music community's attention and hold it until SWISH was ready. If Kim is the all-knowing keeper of the Kanye vault, fans may be treated to a song, possibly titled "Real Friends," later today. Consequence Of Sound also reports that a source confirmed the album is currently slated for a February release.
