Kanye West is far from resting on his rap laurels. As the rapper-producer plans to drop another album this summer, he’s recently announced the title of the project.

On early Saturday morning (Feb. 27), Yeezy went on his Twitter account to deliver the title of his new album, which is tentatively called Turbo Grafx 16.

The inspiration of the title comes from video games that he would play as a child. The Turbo Grafx 16 was a video game console created by NEC that competed against other popular consoles like Sega and Nintendo in the 1990s.

"Just on some super nerd vibes...one of my favorite gaming systems when I was a kid," he explained in a series of tweets. "Blazing Lazers was probably my favorite game on that console."

Now the real question is what will the album sound like? Will it feature video game-inspired sounds or will it be a sequel to his just-released album, The Life of Pablo?

There's no official word on when the album will hit stores. Hopefully, it will be available everywhere and not exclusively on Tidal. 'Ye's cousin and longtime collaborator, Tony Williams, revealed that some of the songs that didn't make it on TLOP could be on this next project.

Either way, the G.O.O.D. Music leader is extending Yeezy Season through the summer. Check out Kanye West's tweets below.
