Singer John Legend will be among a list of of talent delivering an all-star tribute to rock legend Bruce Springsteen.

The rocker, who is being honored as the 2013 MusiCares Person of the Year, will be have a special performance dedicated to him by Legend, in addition to entertainers such as Elton John, Mumford and Sons and Kenny Chesney.

The 23-year-old awards ceremony honors artists for philanthropic work achieved. In the past, Aretha Franklin, Bono, Tony Bennett and Paul McCartney have been honorees.

The MusiCares awards ceremony will be held during Grammy week Feb. 8 in Los Angeles.

Most recently, John Legend has been doing his own work in social change, being apart of the 'Demand a Plan' PSA, which calls for a change of gun laws in light of the recent tragedy at Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School. Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, Chris Rock and others took part in the PSA as well.

Legend is also part of the box office hit 'Django Unchained.' He appears on the film's soundtrack, where he contributed the track 'Who Did That to You.' The singer is currently finishing up his fourth studio album. He canceled a tour that was set to begin in October 2012, so that he could focus on his new LP.
