Jay-Z is showing some brotherly love to the city of Philadelphia with a two-day music extravaganza on Labor Day Weekend. The rap mogul announced today (May 14) that he is hosting and curating ‘Budweiser Made in America’ concerts at Ben Franklin Parkway in Fairmount Park on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2.

Over 30 artists are expected to perform across three stages at the event. The two-day festival will also be streamed live online, as well. “We already have 70 percent of the artists confirmed,” said Jay-Z at the press conference.

A full list of scheduled artists is expected to be announced on May 21. A wide variety of acts from rock, hip-hop, R&B, Latin and dance will be selected for the event. Tickets will go on sale via Live Nation on May 23 at $99 a pop. Proceeds from the sales of the tickets will go to United Way and local charities in Philadelphia and New Jersey.

“I can’t do half-baked work,” Jay-Z told the cheering crowd on hand at the press conference. “So, I’m really putting my all into this. It’s gonna be a great day in Philly.”

Yes, indeed. The Roc is in the building!
