Remember when Jay Electronica dissed Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent during a Periscope chat back in February? Well, he’s sorry about that. On Saturday (April 23), Jay Elect went on his Twitter account to apologize to Fif and K.Dot for his disparaging remarks about them.

To quickly recap, during a 16-minute video chat, the New Orleans rhymer shockingly dissed Kendrick’s lyrical abilities and then threatened to smack 50's "eyeballs loose out of his scalp."

Jay Electronica was in a chipper mood on Saturday and decided to extend the olive branch to the aforementioned rappers he dissed and spread peace across social media. After saluting PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chris Brown and Solange Knowles, he gave props to Charlamagne Tha God on how he handled himself with his infamous Birdman interview.

The 39-year-old rapper then went on to apologize to Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent for his belittling remarks about them during his Periscope chat.

"Peace to K dot and TDE because regardless to whom or what we are brothers fighting the same enemy. Forgive my past transgressions," he tweeted. "Peace to 50 as well. that's my brother and I love him. I'm just waiting for him to let his greatness shine."

"The Minster [Louis Farrakhan] told me to unite our people not divide them," he added.

Now that Jay Electronica has issued his apology to 50 Cent and Kendrick Lamar, let's hope we see a collaboration between the two rappers on his much-delayed debut album.
