Janet Jackson dropped a bombshell on fans today (April 6.) The pop megastar announced via Twitter that she would be putting the European leg of her "Unbreakable" World Tour on hold as she and her husband, billionaire Wissam Al Mana, are "planning our family."

"On August 31st, as you probably know, i launched the 'Unbreakable' World Tour," Janet says in the video shared via Twitter. "FIrst, I just want to thank all of the fans for coming out and seeing the show. Thank you so much, you guys made it so enjoyable for me each and every night."

She then acknowledges that there has been a "sudden change."

"My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please if you can try and understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up--doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you, I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."

Jackson thanked her dancers, band and crew ("You guys were so professional, so incredibly talented, so supportive and loving each and every night.") and thanked Live Nation and the fans while acknowledging that she would resume things.

The legendary singer spent most of 2015 staging a successful return to the charts and the stage after a lengthy hiatus. But the news of her postpone and family "expansion" served as notice that Jackson could be pregnant. Of course, there is currently no word as to the details regarding her family, but it's understandable that the star would take the time to focus on what could be a momentously joyful occasion for her and her husband.
