Janay Rice wife of ex Raven's football player Ray Rice released this statement via Instagram about her husband being released from the Ravens franchise.

Who exactly is the NFL/Ravens punishing and for what ? This woman has obviously forgiven her husband and they are working to make their relationship work. Is this really any of this man's jobs business ?

He wasn't prosecuted and the legal system let him off for what he did, that is how the American justice system works. Sometimes in life you can't help people that don't want to be helped.
