J. Cole fans are welcome to un-circle January 28th on their calendars. He announced his sophomore album, Born Sinner, will be delayed.

Cole World was getting set to perform in Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve when he dropped the unfortunate news. A push-back date wasn’t announced, just an open-ended response of “later in the year.”

“It’s not going to make January 28th. It’s going to be a little later than that. I needed more time to get it down. I don’t even know what they’re (fans) going to feel. I hope they’re going to love it, but I don’t know if it’s going to be the production or the stories.”
