His debut album debuted at number one in its first week of release in September of 2011. The project also landed him a Best New Artist nomination at the 2012 Grammy Awards. The album featured hit records like Work Out, Can’t Get Enough and Nobody’s Perfect.

The original release date for his follow-up was January 28th. Cole said he “needed a little more time than that to get things done.” He’s established some nice momentum leading up to the new date as his new single with Miguel, Power Trip, is moving up the charts at a feverish pace.
