Temperatures are expected to be in the mid to high 90’s for the rest of the week. Due to the heat wave, the city of Albany is helping to prevent your face from melting off. There will be cooling stations set up throughout the city, which will be open to the public 11am to 7pm through Friday.

The stations will offer relief to those stuck at home without AC or those without transportation who are traveling on foot.

Here’s where the stations will be set up:

Giffen Elementary School – 274 S. Pearl St.

North Albany Academy – 570 N. Pearl St.

Schuyler Academy – 676 Clinton Ave.

Delaware Avenue Library – 331 Delaware Ave.

New Scotland Library – 455 New Scotland Ave.

Stay cool out there!
